    Multi-Room Remodel project

    Remodeling a wing of the house in Palo Alto, adding half a bathroom, building a laundry room, partitioning the living room.

    John is very quick in response, got things going quickly. Very knowledgeable about the codes, and gave me lots of good suggestion.

    I interviewed a few contractors, John and his team give a quote priced in the middle. We chose him based on the expertise and quality of work, as well as communication.

    Highly recommend!!!

    John, Federico and their crew at Innovo Builders did an awesome job at our full home remodel: kitchen, 2 bathrooms, electrical changes throughout the house, wall removal, new hardwood floors throughout the house and more. They were easy to communicate, punctual, attentive, had great craftsmanship and, above all, very nice people. They delivered the project on time and within our budget. In addition, given that we were not living at the house during the remodel home they installed cameras for us to keep track of things.
    They also worked directly with the city to get permits and inspections done without any hassle for us.

    We're very happy with our new home and we highly recommend John and his team at Innovo Builders.

    John, Federico and their crew did a great job for our full home remodel. They were easy to communicate, attentive, skilled and above all very nice people. The project was delivered on time and according to our budget.They got all the permits and managed all inspections without any additional work for us. In addition, given that we were not living in the house during the remodel so John installed cameras thrughout the house so that we could keep track of things. We're very happy with our new home and I definitely recommend Innovo builders.

    bathroom remodel

    My husband is a civil engineer who has managed large construction projects. He does not give compliments to contractors easily. So it is significant that he told me that he felt John Montoya and his crew were great. John told us initially that our bathroom remodel would take six weeks, and it was finished in six weeks! We feel John's men did quality work, they were very polite, and they cleaned up their workspace. John used technology to keep on top of the project - he installed a small camera so he could follow the progress and he provided us a dashboard for communications. He responded promptly to any communication requests, even responding to texts late at night. One important issue to us was saving the mirror, light fixture and cabinet. The cabinet had to be removed to do the tile, and I was afraid the mirror would be broken. If the mirror broke, the wall would have to be resurfaced and the light fixture replaced. I was very pleased the crew removed the cabinet without damage to it or the mirror! After they painted the cabinet it looked new! We are very pleased and highly recommend John Montoya and Innovo Builders.

    Innovo Builders did a beautiful job on my bathroom remodel. John Montoya was wonderful to work with. I was so impressed with the way the finished product looked that I hired him to remodel my other bathroom as well. There was clear communication from the writing of the contract until the final inspection. I highly recommend him.
